What You’ll Do:
Installation & Maintenance: Work with SCADA equipment, network devices, communication systems, power line carrier equipment, and fiber optics. Your work ensures the smooth operation of systems critical to EMS, SCADA, and telecommunications.
Site Management: Handle site maintenance, including security systems, emergency generators, automatic transfer switches, high-capacity battery systems, HVAC, dehydrators, and tower light control systems.
24x7 On-Call Support: Be ready to address emergency maintenance needs on microwave, SCADA, and network systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
Technical Updates: Keep all firmware and software updated on SCADA, microwave, network, and test equipment, complying with FAA, FCC, and NERC regulations.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, drawings, and configuration files. Ensure all field changes are accurately documented.
Problem Resolution: Address operational issues, including TV interference and special projects, through field visits or coordination with field personnel.
Inventory & Recommendations: Manage spare parts inventory and make recommendations on new equipment and testing devices to enhance system reliability.

What You’ll Bring:
Educational Excellence:. An Associate Degree in Electronics or related technology or equivalent military training in an electronics discipline.
Technical Skills: Experience with telecommunications systems and equipment, including networking. CompTia or equivalent networking training is highly desired.
Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
Flexibility: Willingness to be on call for emergency maintenance and support.
