Position Purpose:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in computer technology or a minimum of three year's work experience that includes audio/visual component and systems integration, installation, repair or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Basic understanding of computers, AV/IP and campus network infrastructure.
• Skilled at terminating a variety of AV and network cable types that are used in audio visual systems integration.
• Experienced in the integration of electronic control systems such as Crestron and Extron.
• Knowledge of classroom technology and the installation of equipment.
• Detail oriented. 
• Understanding of technology projects.
• Must be able to read and comprehend CAD drawings and other technical information.
• Ability to carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot complex problems associated with audio visual and instructional technology systems.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrate skills/experience in project planning.
• Ability to program Extron or Crestron control systems.
• Ability to program Biamp Tesira, digital sound processors.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Knowledge of Epson projection equipment.
