KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician II - Relay to support our protection and controls design operations at our headquarters in Vinita, Oklahoma. This role plays a key part in the development of substation systems and ensures compliance and efficiency across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in relay and metering design of substations • Generate designs, drawings, specifications, and material lists • Develop SEL relay logic, SCADA point lists, and communication processor configurations • Prepare compliance spreadsheets and technical documentation
Qualifications: • Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronic Technology • 2–5 years of experience in relay and metering • Working knowledge of: – Relay event analysis and protective relays – SCADA systems and point list development – Revenue meters, power/current transformers, and circuit protection equipment – Wave traps, capacitor banks, carrier equipment, and reactors • Equivalent education and experience will be considered
