Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Technician for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). The Fire Alarm Systems Technician is primarily responsible for supporting the maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems.Among the key duties of this position are the following:As a member of a team on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campuses but may be assigned to alarm system equipment on all Rutgers properties throughout New Jersey as determined necessary by the Fire Systems Bureau Assistant Director.The position involves assisting with preventative inspections, basic system repairs, and troubleshooting equipment.May assist in supervising Emergency Service
